A woman, sister, human being, POLICE OFFICER heartlessly told a hopeless mother with her child in the stroller, it takes (3) events to get a restraining order against "the abuser." The mother looked at her straight in the face and said "it takes (1) event to take my life" and walked out of the police station saying enough is enough she will take charge of her situation. What happens when a man is a stalker and you've told the police "he's called me 140 times I fear for my life" and all the police can do is give you a fucking piece of paper with an incident number on it?! WHAT THE HELL IS AN INCIDENT NUMBER GOING TO DO FOR A WOMAN THAT IS IN FEAR FOR HER LIFE?!
So she doesn't have bruises to prove he's an abuser?! She doesn't have a ripped vagina to prove he's a rapist?! You have to be scrapped up, bruised up, fucked up to get some help and have some credibility?! This is what we call justice?! This is what we call equality for women?! This is what we call respecting our women?! Our lives aren't worthy of more than an incident number?! We have to wait until the court house opens to get a restraining order and face the abuser at court so he can then throw battery acid on her in the parking lot?! Oh ok wait until it's to late to then make another one minute head line on the news but fake butts is what sells on the news and newsstands! Ah now it's clear let's praise celebrities for being good for nothing but can't get a real life situation on actual TV for more than 2 seconds.

Ladies it's up to us to stick together and fight for justice for the innocent lives that have been lost, for the lives that are affected daily due to domestic violence. It's up to us to make ourselves valuable and heard. Let's unite and fight against domestic violence. Our future depends on our equality we've come a long way but not enough for the judicial system. Ladies let's step up and be the bosses we know we are and spread awareness.
