Womenempowertoday is dedicated to empowering women all over the globe. Bringing domestic violence awareness, sharing personal survival stories, and focusing on forming bonds with other women and turn it into a sisterhood are just a few reasons why this blog was created. Giving back to the community being the biggest focus yet still getting a quick daily read of empowerment are reasons this blog has had hits in over 75 countries! The mission of this blog is "We can strengthen each other by empowering one another!" As Sojourner Truth once said "If the first woman God ever made was strong enough to turn the world upside down all alone, these women together ought to be able to turn it back , and get it right side up again!" Brunie Sanchez, Founder of womenempowertoday.com has been an avid blogger for the last several years. From advocating to women on a global level to her philanthropy work with other organizations her biggest passion is to give back any way she can. Ms. Sanchez has also created a non profit organization Me, Myself, I Foundation that helps communities with food, local resources, and domestic violence resources. At a young age when asked what was her biggest goal she always stated to have a shelter for battered women. Not knowing she would become a domestic violence survivor herself she was able to use her own story to empower other women. She is using her passion, survival story, and philanthropic ways to ensure she builds her very own shelter for women.
